Hi, my name is Shaun, but you can call me St. Cloud. It seems you’ve stumbled onto my collection of ‘Tales From the ManaVerse’ (this blog). Welcome. Here, you can find all kinds of stories about the endless fascinating locations -and the creatures that inhabit them- I’ve found throughout the universe.
I’ve been an explorer since I was a child. I grew up in the country and was always outside, tromping around, drawing a map in my head of everything I found. When I grew older and ran out of real-world mysteries to find, I discovered the beauty of fictional worlds. No matter the format -book, video game, TV show- I devoured them as quick as I could.
Each and every time I found myself disappointed. I was disappointed not because the quality of these worlds was poor or uninteresting (though some were) but because they were so interesting that I always wanted them to continue. But they never did.
Eventually, I returned to exploring the real world when I joined the military, expanding my reach to the international stage. I’ve seen many corners of the globe over the years but never did my desire to explore the worlds of fiction disappear, nor did my disappointment when the inevitable happened.
This brings me to the creation of the ManaVerse: a fictional world of my own design that I hope to explore and never find the end of. If you wish to join me on the journey then you’ve come to the right place.
